Five persons were reported dead and scores injured when two vehicles had head-on collision, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Daily Sun learnt that the deceased, including three females and two males, died on the spot. It was further gathered that the accident involved two private cars.
Confirming the accident, state Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Umoh Etuk, told newsmen five persons died in the auto crash at the Rumuokwuta axis of Port Harcourt.
He also their identities.
The sector commander further said the remains of the victims have been evacuated, while those that sustained injuries are receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
