Three suicide bombers were killed when they attempted to infiltrate the Department of Works of the University of Maiduguri in Borno State.
The incident occurred, Saturday, at 1.10 am mid night.
A security guard at the University was also killed in the explosions. According to reports, the corpses have being evacuated by rescuers from National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Borno State Emergency Management Agency (BOSEMA).
The university authorities and security agencies have promised to provide more updates on the attack.
Concerned authorities have also enjoined institutions to be transparent in their information management.
