Assures APC will keep campaign promises
The newly elected Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Abdul’Aziz Yari, has promised that his committee will ensure an issue-based campaign for next year’s presidential election.
He spoke to the media at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on arrival in the country from an overseas trip, affirming his commitment to the Nigerian electorate that the ruling party will fulfil every pledge made as it builds momentum for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term re-election bid.
Impressed by the tumultuous welcoming crowd of party faithful and supporters, Yari further declared that fidelity to campaign promises would remain the hallmark of the ruling party.
“I want to assure Nigerians that whatever promise we made during campaign, we shall keep to our promises. Today we have seen him (Bola Tinubu) as President today and by God’s grace he shall remain the president come 2027,” he said.

Addressing the crowd of supporters who converged on the airport reception area, the campaign chief expressed gratitude for the reception, attributing their presence to a shared national vision and spiritual support for the administration.
“The crowd are here to pray for me and for the success of Mr. President. Our party is synonymous with keeping to our words. We pray that Almighty Allah will give him (the President) the wisdom to lead this country. We assure Nigerians that we shall fulfill all our campaign promises,” he reassured.
Appraising the task ahead beyond the immediate electoral cycle, the former Zamfara State governor expressed confidence in the party’s long-term standing with the Nigerian public, insisting: “We pray that our party will continue to be the party to lead the country after President Tinubu’s second term.”
