3 years after, friends, associates eulogise Almaroof

By Lukman Olabiyi

The late businessman and renowned estate consultant, Teslim Adeola Almaroof, has, again been eulogised by his families, friends and associates for contributing positively to development of mankind during his lifetime.

The deceased’s families, friends and associates all gathered at the weekend to remember the late estate consultant and also prayed for him.

The three years remembrance/fidau prayers was held at Atan-Ota, Ogun State.

Almaroof, who was the head of Arota/Ologun family of Orile Oshodi in Oshodi Isolo Local Government Area of Lagos State, died on Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Lagos after a brief illness.

The fidau prayer organised by a frontline estate agent, Mutairu Owoeye, was attended by dignitaries from within and outside the state.

Speaking at the event, Owoeye described Almaroof as the father of the fatherless and that his memory still lingers in the minds of those he left behind.

He described Almoroof as a great creature, known for his remarkable empathy and records of sterling achievements in leadership, philanthropy, and business.

“All the years I spend with my mentor are the best years of my life. He trained me in estate management after I retired from the military. I was with him until his death. After I left the military, I did not work with anybody but only Almaroof.

‘’Almaroof was never involved in land grabbing, unless you have valid documents or valid court judgment, he will not take up your matter and he does not double deal.

‘’He has helped several families recover their lands. Throughout his lifetime, Almoroof fought for justice, for land-owning families in Lagos and Ogun State whose family land and ancestral homes had been forcefully seized or illegally possessed by trespassers and meddlesome interlopers. He dissipated his deep knowledge of the rudiment of land matter to repossess the grabbed land through the instrumentality of law partnering knowledgeable legal minds to achieve justice for the oppressed and indigent family already deprived of their proprietary entitlement. He brought succour, equity, and justice to the doorstep of many hopeless lands owing families.

‘’I pray the Almighty Allah would have mercy on him and protect the entire family he left behind,’’ he said.
