2nd Aba reunion global convention holds Sept 2026 in Atlanta

The 2nd Aba Reunion Global Convention has been fixed to hold in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America, from September 11 to 13, 2026.

President, Aba Reunion, Chief Chuck Enyinna, who made the disclosure in an online media conference said a Convention Planning Committee made up of Board of Trustees members and some select group members in the United States, United Kingdom, and Nigeria has been put in place.

The Dallas-based businessman said that the Convention would be held at the Jazzy J Banquet Centre, located at 5134 Old National Highway, Suite 1 College Park, Georgia. He further disclosed that the Convention Planning Committee has secured bookings for members desiring to lodge at Marriot Hotel in Atlanta.

A member of the BOT and head of the Planning Committee, Chief Okechukwu Waboso, expressed satisfaction with the progress made towards hosting the Convention in Atlanta, where he resides.

“We are on track to host our members from all over the world for the second Convention; and, for us in Atlanta, we have completed arrangements for the venue, the consumables, and lodging. We are  also negotiating to have a seamless transit from the airport to Marriott Hotel and the Banquet Centre on the days of the Convention,” Waboso announced.

The Aba Reunion is a global association for men and women who grew up in the commercial town of Aba from the 1970s to the early 1990s.

The first convention attracted professionals, businessmen, and politicians and was held in Dallas, Texas, in 2024. Enyinna disclosed that members at the Convention in Atlanta would vote to ratify a proposal for a homecoming convention in 2028.
