25 years of democracy: Ezekwobi tasks president on food security

The Eze Ndigbo Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos, Eze Michael Ezekwobi (Oyiomanatumba Nɗigbo Gbaagburugburu) has called on President Ahmed Tinubu to look towards agriculture as a means of fighting the hardship and hunger that has plagued Nigeria in the last couple of months.

In a statement, the Eze said despite the hardship, their is still ray of hope of only the president and policy makers can come out with agricultural masterplan that would ensure that all the arable farmland are fully utilised to boost food production.

While commending President Tinubu on a series of projects he recently commissioned in Lagos, Ezekwobi said this is a strong indicator that the dream of making Lagos a Megacity is still alive.

In a message to Ndigbo in Ifako Ijaiye, Ezekwobi commended them for their peaceful conduct with their host community. the Royal Father appealed to them to continue to be law-abiding in the pursuit of their legitimate bussiness.
