2023 presidency: Visually impaired actively participate

The 2023 election is witnessing a surge from Nigerians of all classes, including the blind.

Over 120 visually impaired Nigerians from the Bethesda Home for the Blind were spotted around 10am marching to their voting centre in Yaba to exercise their franchise.

According to the Founder/Director of the Home located at No 39 Agege Motor Road, by Moshalashi Bus stop, Yaba, Miss Victoria Osakwe, the blind have decided to see this time around.

Amidst chants of ‘ A new Nigeria is possible’ as their raised their walking sticks, the people were determined to be part of history as they painstakingly march to N8 Popo Street, Yaba, to cast their votes.
