With less than 24 hours to the 2019 elections, gospel music act, UK-based Mike Pounds has dropped a spanking brand-new single entitled Baba which was officially released on Saturday, February 9, 2019.
Speaking with our correspondent, Pounds who dropped Yahweh a while ago and which was a resounding success said the song was inspired by the current delicate situation in the country.
He said: “The situation in Nigeria is deplorable. We need prayers to restore our great nation.
“The inspiration for the song came after seeing the happenings in Nigeria on one of my visits a while ago. I realised that if God doesn’t intervene, there could be serious war. I heard in my spirit that we had to pray for Nigeria. Consequently, all I could do was to sing a song of supplication in my heart to God and that was how Baba was birthed.”
