Lagos state police public relations officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi said the suspect, Dogara John, 18 , was caught in the act of removing reflective road studs installed on the bridge to improve visibility and guide motorists, especially at night and during poor weather conditions.
“A search carried out at the scene led to the recovery of 20 of theswe reflective studs in his possession. These road studs play a vital role in helping drivers stay on course and in preventing accidents, particularly on a busy route like the Third Mainland Bridge.”
