A 23-year-old transgender woman, Robin Westman, killed two and injured 17 students at a Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, on Wednesday morning.
The shooter, armed with three guns, shot up the Annunciation Catholic School on the third day of resumption.
NBC Chicago reported that the school was holding a Mass at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, when the shooter came up from the outside of the building and began firing a rifle through the church’s windows as children sat in pews during the Mass.
The two students killed were aged eight and 10. Westman was also killed by police in a shootout.
A police chief said the guns Westman used were legally purchased, but added that no motive has been established for the attack.
The gunman also had no criminal record.
