Ahead of the 9th edition of agrofood & plastprintpack Nigeria exhibition and conference, the organiser and international trade show specialist, fairtrade Messe, has confirmed participation of 17 countries and over a 100 world-class exhibitors at the event scheduled to hold on March 26-28, 2024, in Lagos.
According to the organiser, the international exhibition & conference is set to unfold global innovations for Nigeria’s agrofood & plastprintpack industry.
On what attendees can anticipate, Senior Project Manager, fairtrade Messe, Freyja Detjen, disclosed that over a 100 world-class exhibitors from Austria, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Tunisia, Türkiye and Ukraine, would be showcasing tailored products and solutions for the Nigerian market.
She said key ministers at the Federal and State levels will participate actively .
“As part of the highlights at this year’s show, the fairtrade will feature official national pavilions from China, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
“ There will Spotlight on Milling & Bakery, featuring prominent exhibitors, engaging workshops and live bakery sessions.”
Another major attraction at this year’s event is the 3rd Annual MFI Awards and the Millers for Nutrition Country Launch – powered by TechnoServe via a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation sponsored initiative – the Millers for Nutrition Coalition – M4N.
“Several Nigerian ministers and members of the Dangote family & the Dangote Foundation will present the awards to the CEOs of the top 5 brands in the wheat flour, edible oil and sugar industries.”
At the three day event, “top-level conference will be held, in a 180-seat conference room with 20+ sessions and 70+ speakers.

Following the fruitful collaboration since the 2021 event, fairtrade and the Organization for Technology Advancement of Cold Chain in West Africa (OTACCWA), will co-organize the 6th West African Cold Chain Summit & Exhibition (WACCSE) by OTACCWA alongside agrofood & plastprintpack Nigeria 2024.
