129kW solar system cuts JMG’s diesel bill by N40m

JMG Limited

As a known player in the renewable energy space, JMG Limited has installed a 129kWp hybrid solar system at its head office, using premium solar technology from Longi and Deye.

The hybrid installation combines Longi 575W solar panels, Deye high-efficiency hybrid inverters, and 122.9kWh of DEYE high voltage lithium-ion battery storage, designed and managed entirely by JMG’s Solar Division.

With the capacity to deliver 15.48MWh of clean energy monthly, covering 90 per cent of the building’s total energy needs, the project is set to eliminate over 71 tons of CO2 emissions per year and significantly cutting diesel costs.

According to the company, the solar system is now saving JMG over 34,800 liters of diesel per year, equivalent to about N40 million in annual savings.

“We’re not just promoting clean energy. We’re running on it,” said Hussein Abbas, Head of JMG’s Solar Division. “Our Head Office now leads by example, proving that smart, scalable solar solutions that are ready for today’s commercial challenges.”

The system features a smart monitoring interface, dual rooftop, and carport-mounting for space efficiency, and marks a pivotal step toward a greener corporate future.
