The news of his death filtered into Maiduguri in the early hours of Friday.
The government is yet to officially confirm the incident but already scores of aides to the governor, journalists, medi practitioners, social media influencers in the state are gathering in the Maiduguri Government House to mourn the man who they described as “a friend and soulmate ”
