Nigerian gospel artiste, Testimony Jaga, has spread Christmas cheer by distributing rice and other essential food items to thousands of residents across Lagos.
The outreach, organised as part of his annual yuletide initiative, saw vulnerable families receive staples including rice, beans and garri, aimed at easing the burden of festive expenses amid economic hardship.
Popularly known for blending Fuji and afro-pop gospel music, Testimony Jaga—real name Salau Aliu Olayiwola—said the gesture reflects the true essence of Christmas, which Christians mark as the birth of Jesus Christ.
