Delta State Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Friday Osanebi has distributed two thousand bags of rice across Delta State.
The distribution is part of his efforts to make Christmas memorable for Deltans, and in keeping with his usual tradition of sharing of palliative to the less privileged.
Osanebi noted that the food distribution is his way of cushioning the effect of the high prices of food on Deltans.
He said the festive season is a time to put into practice the teachings of Jesus Christ, which is centred around love and compassion.
The APC Deputy Governorship Candidate in the March 18 Governorship polls said his decision to always reach out to his people during the festive seasons is not political,, adding that whether he holds political office or not, he will always put smiles on the faces of his people during Christmas.
Items distributed include 2000 bags quality of rice, 100 cows, 200 goats, 100 cartons of oil, 100 cartons of Tin tomatoes, 50 hampers were amongst the items distributed.
Some of the recipients who couldn’t hide their joy, showered encomium and praises on Osanebi, with many stating he’s the only political leader from Ndokwa Nation who gives and empowers without sentiments.
