Yuletide: Community tasks police

Ifo community has appealed to the Ifo Police Divisional headquarters to apply 24-hour close watch during and after  Christmas and New Year to checkmate activities of undesirable elements.

Alhaji Nurudeen Ajibola, who made the request on behalf of the community, thanked the Divisional Police Officer (DPO),  Abiodun Ayinde on the proactive measure used to resolve various cases brought before the station.

Ajibola said at Christmas and New Year, security should be a joint responsibility of the community and the Police so that the festivities would be celebrated without fear.

Residents also hailed police officers in the division for their commitment to the safety of lives and property in the community.
