Veteran Yoruba actor Yinka Quadri has spoken about his wife’s response to his relationships with other actresses, saying she continued to treat them well despite knowing about the affairs.
In a snippet of an interview on African A List, the actor said his wife, Sadiat, was aware of his relationships with some actresses but maintained a cordial relationship with them.
Quadri added that some of the actresses would approach his wife to discuss matters concerning him, but she remained welcoming towards them.
He also recalled that his wife sometimes hosted and cared for actresses who visited their home after late-night film productions, despite knowing about their relationships with him.
“At some point, some female colleagues in the industry will approach my wife to gossip that I’m dating other actresses, even though I’m also dating some of the very actresses who gossip about me. My wife knows about it and doesn’t fight with them,” he said.
“Sometimes, when we finish production late and some of them come to sleep at my house, my wife feeds and takes care of them despite knowing that I’m dating them.”
Quadri met Sadiat in 1985, and the couple tied the knot in 1989. Their union is blessed with children and grandchildren.
