THE Federal Government will, today, begin activities marking this year’s World Water Day with a walk in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The theme of the celebrations is “Water and Jobs.”
The Federal Ministry of Water Resources, in a statement, said the celebrations will also focus on the critical role that water plays in creating and supporting good quality jobs as well as on how enough quantity and quality of water can change workers’ lives and their livelihoods and also transform societies and the nation’s economies.
