Business Study Group has named Worital Book Publishing Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Fola Folagbade, the Most Resilient Entrepreneur of 2022. In an event held at Fraiser Suits in Abuja
The prestigious Timi Ajala Resilience Award is exclusive to BSG C.E.Os. It’s an annual prize, awarded to the C.E.O who has proven to be resilient in contributing to the growth of the economy at large through running a business.
Fola Folagbade was nominated along side several other amazing C.E.Os for public voting. He had over 144,000 votes making him the lead and winner.
“The top 3 C.E.Os were shortlisted and called for an interview and to my greatest surprise, I was awarded after much scrutinization had been done. It feels good really. First award with a cash benefit. Also, this great feat further shows me that I have the eyes of people on me and the little I am doing is adding value to people’s life” says the Worital Boss who has now bagged four major awards.
Fola also explained that Worital is just starting. “We are not where we started, however we are still far from where we are headed. We have a lot to be done in the publishing space” he reechoed.
Speaking of the company’s major challenge, Fola says treating and retaining great staffs remains most challenging. Since most smart and intelligent young minds are seriously leaving the country. He noted that one of his team members left this year, another is going before the end of the year.
The Worital C.E.O also spoke about the next project of the publishing company. He said they have their app on the way. “Among other things coming, our reading app comes next. A home for audiobooks, ebooks and paperback. It’s going to be the first in Africa to have these three features. I can’t wait for it to be out!” said the Celebrity Publisher.
