The 2023 senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for the Federal Capital Territory, Anthony Ezekwugo, has described Nyesom Wike’s appointment as minister of the nation’s capital as a position well deserved.
Ezekwugo, in a statement, yesterday noted that Wike would lift the FCT from its present level to the standard that befits the capital territory of the most populous nation in Africa.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the new FCT minister to deliver on the job based on the confidence reposed in him and his track record of a achievements in River State as governor for eight years.
He urged the minister to hit the ground running as soon as possible in restoring the distorted Master Plan of the territory and pointed out that FCT residents have high expectations that the former Rivers State governor would do better than his predecessors in bringing development to every part of the territory.
Also, he politician commended President Bola Tinubu for his foresight in choosing Wike as the minister of the territory.
He expressed confidence that Wike will not disappoint Nigerians but will bring to the table his wealth of experience, as an astute administrator, an achiever per excellence and a manager of men and material, to bear in the administration other Federal Capital Territory.
