Minister of Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has cautioned construction companies against land grabbing, asserting that access to land for equipment does not imply ownership.
He gave the warning at a ceremony in Abuja where he donated 50 Hilux vehicles to security agencies to bolster their operational capabilities.

Wike’s remarks come amid ongoing concerns about illegal structures in the FCT, particularly in areas like Sabon Lugbe, where he recently ordered the demolition of buildings erected without proper approvals.
He reiterated that the administration is taking a hardline stance against illegal developments, emphasising a zero-tolerance policy to restore order and legality in land use across Abuja.
