MEDIA personality and vlogger, Toke Makinwa, has begun divorce proceedings against her estranged hubby, Maje Ayida. This comes exactly a year after news first broke that her husband had a mistress, Anita Solomon, whom he impregnated.
According to Entertainer checks, her grounds for the dissolution is adultery as she claims Ayida and his baby mama now presently live together in her former matrimonial home.
Toke’s divorce suit also stated that her estranged husband claimed to not have money to take care of her and pay their bills but was able to pay for Anita’s upkeep and travel expenses to the UK to have their baby.
Heartbroken Toke added that prior to the scandal, she was on the verge of signing an endorsement deal worth N20 million with a telecommunication firm in Nigeria. However, following the widespread negative media publicity that trailed the incidence, the company dumped her.
Toke is represented by Messrs Adepetun, Cato-Martins, Agbor & Agbor. The case commences in a few days time before Justice Pedro of the Lagos State High Court.
