Musician Yemi Alade has disclosed how she avoids becoming involved in the entertainment industry’s controversies.
The ‘Johnny’ singer remarked that she does not let people’s opinions influence her.
Speaking on the sideline of her new album, ‘Rebel Queen’ listening party in Lagos recently, Yemi Alade explained that she handles negative criticisms by simply ignoring them.

She said, “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I have.
“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”
