With over 200 acting credits and a thriving YouTube platform, curvaceous Nollywood actress, Bolaji Ogunmola has built a career that continues to attract attention.
On The Morayo Show, Ogunmola opened up about career decisions she once thought were mistakes, revealing they have ultimately become valuable lessons.
“I call them mistakes, but they are learning curves. It’s never a failure; it’s a lesson learned,” she said.
According to the actress, one of her biggest lessons has been not succumbing to pressure to produce YouTube videos or constantly compete with other content creators.

“There was the pressure of trying to be better in my next production and competing with everyone else; doing things because everyone was doing them. I don’t do that anymore. I focus on my lane and do what works for me,” she said.
The long-legged diva, who has enjoyed considerable success with her YouTube productions, cautioned content creators against using views alone as a measure of success. She added that a movie’s view count doesn’t tell the full story of its commercial success.
“Views are great, but it depends on the location people are watching from, the adverts on it, the seasons, and so many other things to consider before you say a YouTube movie was successful. Don’t be fooled by the numbers,” she warned.
The actress also spoke candidly about dealing with bullying and negative comments, admitting that criticism can affect her because of her sensitive nature.
“I am very soft. Hurtful words get to me a lot. But I have come to realise it gets worse if you keep explaining yourself. People will always talk, and you can never be right in front of people who want you to be wrong. If they have a mindset about you, it will never change. So, do you and move on,” she added.
Despite her visibility in the entertainment industry, Ogunmola remains protective of her relationship: “I want to keep my relationship private; just know that I am in a happy place. And I feel my partner didn’t ask for this life, fame, so I feel it’s unfair to drag him into it. What people don’t know is that they can’t hurt. So, I would rather say I am happy and blessed. God is good,” she noted.
