When God is with you

Before getting into the finer details of the business of the day, this writer is desperate to let out two overdue yells. There are many people who were not created by God. They evolved from the ape. Since you cannot look like a goat when it is the lion that brought you forth, we should know that those who descended from God cannot and do not carry on like animals.

You get the point now. If you are a good, humble, loving, patient and sacrificial person, you came from God. If you are an arrogant, bad, selfish, wicked and wild idiot, go and check to confirm your DNA is not of the ape family. That’s one.

Two, it’s about time we put to bed the useless argument either that God does not exist or that God is too much of a killer to count. If God does not exist, then man too doesn’t. Having disproved that, and remembering that at the beginning of creation God only created the good and the beautiful, it is safe to say that all good men and good women and good children came from God. Non-existence could not have created and cannot create existence!

You can only give what you have. You can only replicate what you are. God is good and beautiful, so He creates good and beautiful. If you claim God does not exist or that He’s not good, then you came from the ape; no wonder you look so bad and ugly and do such animalistic things every time.

End of Discussion. But, there’s more. The God who does not exist and is a killer, how and why did He not kill Herod instead of asking Jesus’s parents to flee with Him to Egypt? Or, as my spiritual father told me someone said, if God is a killer then Satan is what?

A saviour, I guess. Keep believing what you want. Soon, you shall deny your very essence or your parentage. One more time, I beseech you to accept that Jesus is God so you know peace forever.

Which brings me to the message I come with. When God is with you, you yourself would know -if you are sensitive. The devil is among the first to know, though. The foregoing explains why he always fights you and everything concerning you but you always win.

When God is with you, many are your afflictions but you are delivered from them all. You try and try and try and fail. When you give up or tire out, favour finds you. When God is with you, your works are not a criterion whatsoever.

When God is with you, all you need to thrive is the knowledge of that presence. The knowledge to abound when abased and to abase when abounded. The knowledge to believe that all the plans for you are of good, never of evil; to bring you to an expected end. The knowledge to understand that there’s absolutely “no shaking” as my friend and president of M & B Vision, Rt Hon. Henry Isaiah Udofia, immediate past Chairman of my home Local Government of Uruan always says.

When God is with you, you always finish strong. Even if you may not always start or always land well. Even if you may not always continue or always do well. When God is with you, you always always win.

When God is with you, a thousand may fall at your left side, ten thousand at your right hand but no harm comes to you or any of yours. You walk unscathed through the valley of the shadow of death. You successfully and victoriously tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing by any means hurts you. When God is with you, even the enemy realises that of a truth safety is of the Lord.

When God is with you, you receive provision even before the need arises. Your table is forever set. Your water becomes wine. When God is with you, even the raven (probably the world’s most selfish bird) bows to you in kindness and service.

When God is with you, the builder-you or the watchman-you neither build nor watch in vain. Your building receives speed and quality unknown to you. Your territory and you are guarded supernaturally. When God is with you, you receive even help you can’t explain or see.

When God is with you, your small size is magnified. Goliaths end up chagrined for having despised you. Hamans end up hanged on the same gallows they had prepared for you. When God is with you, your little one becomes a thousand, and your small one a strong nation.

When God is with you, your burden is light. You endure with a smile because you know the end. You harbour no anger, no bitterness, no greed, no regret; you harbour nothing that steals your joy. When God is with you, you  evince only godly fruits; never anything satanic.

When God is with you, your record is cleaned up for eternity. Your dirty past becomes a white fine linen. Your debt having been paid up in full, no one reminds or taunts you. When God is with you, you are forever saved.

When God is with you, Jesus lives in you. You teach others about Him and make whatever sacrifice necessary to ensure that many more know Him. You give cheerfully to man as well as to the work of ministry. When God is with you, you live in heaven here on earth.

As we approach the conclusion, we find that there are some matters arising. Please, don’t be offended, can we round this off via a question-and-answer session? Is God with you? Does Jesus live within you?

Do you still engage in silly arguments over Christ or God? Do you accept that Jesus is God? That long, long, long before Mary, Jesus was? That once saved, forever saved; knowing Jesus won’t return to die again?

Jesus is God who became man to die and save man. Jesus is calling on you today. Saying yes to Jesus now is all that it takes. Glorrrrrrrrry!
