We’re not in alliance with Tantita Security, Itsekiri community refutes claim

Tantita-Security-Services

From Joe Obukata Ogbodu, Warri

The leadership of Omadino Federated Communities in Warri Federal Constituency, Delta State, has dismissed claims of having an alliance with Tantita Security Services Limited as being purported in some quarters.

Chief priest of the community, Roland Yomere, had purported that the community entered “renewed alliance” with Tantita Security Services Limited.

But a statement made available to newsmen over the weekend, under the auspices of Omadino Community Management Committee, the people disowned Roland Yomere’s claims, saying that he was not mandated to act in the capacity of mouthpiece of Omadino.

The statement which was signed by  Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren (Chairman) and Mr. Benjamin Akoreh, (Secretary) respectively, noted that Omadino shares boundary with Ugborodo and not Gbaramatu as Roland Yomere suggested in his press briefing held Saturday morning.

The statement reads: “Our attention has been drawn to a recent press release making the rounds on social media by  Roland Yomere on  November 8, 2025, wherein he purports to be speaking and acting on behalf of the Elders, Management committee, Youth Executive and entire people of Omadino Community.

“We take this opportunity to re-echo the position of Omadino Community, as far as the Tantitta surveillance job in the Niger Delta is concerned, particularly as it affects our communities and people, and reemphasize that our position has well been articulated and disseminated to the public and all relevant authorities, including Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, and that the said Roland Yomere has no authority, and is in no place to articulate and present the position of Omadino community to the public in his personal capacity he has done in this case.

“We therefore, refute in totality, the misrepresentation of our community by the said Roland Yomere, same lacking the authority to so act as he is not the mouthpiece of Omadino community, neither was he mandated to act in that capacity.

“We take this opportunity to reemphasize that our boundary neighbor is Ugborodo community and we do not have boundary issues with the people of Gbaramatu as he purported.

“The mandate to act on behalf of Omadino community rests squarely with Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren led Omadino Community Management Committee. We, therefore, urge the general public to completely to disregard the misrepresentation by the said  Yomere, same not being mandated to speak on behalf for our community.”
