We’re licensed to operate in Enugu state, YangaGames replies NSC

The management of YangaGames Technologies Limited, operators of YangaGames has respond to the recent clampdown exercise on illegal operators launched by the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission which led to sealing up of their hubs in the state.

According to a statement signed by Derrick David Kentebe, Executive Chairman of the company, he said YangaGames holds valid licences issued by the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission.

“YangaGames Technologies Limited, being a compliant operator has since re-established cordial relationship in consonance with the regulatory requirements of the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission and resumed operations on July 31, 2025 at all our re-opened hubs located in Enugu State.”

He lamented what, according to him, the overreach by the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission, stressing that as a responsible company, YangaGames which operates in every part of Nigeria will not willingly float any rule domiciled in any state.

He added “having operated in various Nigerian states since 2018 without any issue whatsoever and received commendations for our commitment to responsible gaming.
