Taraba State Governor Dr Agbu Kefas has reiterated the commitment of his administration to fulfill all the promises made to the people of the state by providing purposeful leadership and ameliorating hardship as much as possible.
Governor Kefas who gave the assurance on Thursday said that his administration is well aware of the tough times confronting the people but is equally determined to address them decisively.
The governor who spoke through his SA on Media and Digital Communication Honorable Emmanuel Bello insisted that his administration’s blueprint has taken into consideration much of the contemporary realities and has planned for them.
“Well, this is a new year and I can assure you that the Governor has already hit the ground running. We are aware of the cries of the people who are caught up with the challenges confronting Nigerians generally. We are aware. We know that 2023 was particularly a very trying year for us all.
“As a matter of fact, we are aware that the days ahead will be very hard to navigate. This is a global reality and there is very little we can do to change that trajectory. It is the times.
“What I can assure you however is the fact that we would do everything possible as a responsible administration to ensure that Tarabans navigate these precarious times with relative ease.
“We are fully focused on providing purposeful leadership and all the needed dividends of responsible democracy. Already, we have concrete arrangements on ground to ensure the fulfillment of our promises to the people. This government will not go to sleep until the people stay in relative safety and they are given opportunities to grow.
“As a state, we are aware of our strengths and potentials. We also know our challenges and weaknesses and we would explore all for growth. We would do everything reasonable to attract as much foreign investors as possible and in a short while from now, people will begin to see a clear difference and a high way in the desert” he said.
