Venerable Superior Evangelist (VSE) Olarenwaju Macaulay, who died in the United States of America (USA), will be buried at Amule, Ayobo, Ogun State, tomorrow.
Mr. Macaulay died on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at the age of 67 years.
According to a statement by the USA Central Choir of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Macaulay’s burial ceremony started with a service of songs and musical night in USA on Friday, October 2, 2026.
Meanwhile, a family member disclosed that Macaulay’s corpse arrived from USA early this week.
Also, in another statement by Joyful Singer Olowu Choir of CCC Olowu, Amule, Ayobo, Lagos, a Wake Keep will hold for Macaulay today at CCC Olowu, 1, Babatunde Egungbohun Street, Via Asipa Road, Mercyland Estate, Amule, Ayobo, Lagos at 4pm.
The statement further said the lying-in-state will hold tomorrow from 8am to 9:30am while the funeral service holds from 10am to 11am.
It said Macaulay’s burial service holds at 12pm follows immediately by his internment at the same address above. Also reception and entertainment of guests holds at the same venue.
Mr. Macaulay is survived by children, grandchildren and many relatives.
