Voting has commenced in earnest at Governor Simon Lalong’s Ajikamai Polling Unit 015 in Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State.
INEC officials arrived at the polling unit at about 8am while voting started at about 8:30am after they had educated the voters on how to vote.
The governor, as at the time of filling this report, had not arrived the polling unit to vote, while prospective voters were queuing anxiously to cast their ballot.
The voting process was peaceful as voters conducted themselves well and orderly. The polling unit has 1,287 registered voters.
