A suspected vandal, Umar Biliaminu got a beating of his life on Thursday after injuring one of the people trying to apprehend him in the Iju area of Lagos State.

In an X post on Friday, Lagos police spokesman, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed that the suspect was caught while carting away barbed wire on a perimeter fence.

He said Biliaminu injured one of his arrestors with a scissors, which prompted mob action on him.

“He injured one of the people trying to apprehend him with a scissors. This prompted mob action on him.”

He stated, “Efforts are ongoing to apprehend those behind this barbaric act of jungle justice.

“Say NO to jungle justice!”
