Valencia, Sevilla eying Sadiq Umar
Umar Sadiq is being linked with a departure from La Liga club, Real Sociedad in the summer transfer window.
According to Spanish sports daily AS, Valencia has identified the Nigeria national teamer as a potential target in the event that it fails to landitd top candidate, Rafa Mir from Sevilla.
Valencia is working on a deal that would see Sadiq join the club on a season-long loan.

Valencia faces competition for the services of Sadiq, with Sevilla and Italian outfit, Bologna also showing interest in the 2016 Olympics bronze medalist.

Sadiq started fifteen matches from a possible fifty-three in all competitions during the 2023-2024 campaign, while logging

The forward has worn the colours of Partizan Belgrade, Rangers, AS Roma, Spezia, Perugia, NAC Breda, Torino and USD Lavagnese in the past.
He scored on his full debut when Nigeria defeated Guinea-Bissau 2-0 at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and was initially named in the squad for the 2023 AFCON, but was replaced at the last minute due to fitness issues.
