From Stanley Uzoaru, Owerri

South East National Vice chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Dr Ijiomah Arodiogbu has expressed confidence that Governor Hope Uzodinma’s achievements in his first tenure will pave the way for his victory in the forthcoming governorship election in the State.

He also maintained that his victory would guarantee the consolidation of his projects in his second term.

The APC chieftain who disclosed this shortly after the inauguration of the Campaign Council in the State by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party at the weekend also described the governor’s aspiration as a vision that would be actualised.

Arodiogbu whose branded face caps powered by his office and other APC insignias added colour to the inauguration of the Campaign Council at the ceremony noted that the reelection of Uzodinma is non-negotiable.

He also maintained that Uzodinma’s choice of Lady Chinyere Ekomaru as his running mate is an added advantage to his already agenda of women’s affirmative action and inclusion in politics.

The health expert has vowed to make sure Uzodinma wins in the November, 11 election.

He said, “APC has set the pace, sound administrative expertise and people-oriented policies/programs, from the Federal Government to the States down to the LGAs, APC is a mass movement, Governor Hope Uzodinma did not disappoint in his first four years, the second tenure is for consolidation”.

“Re-electing him for another four years should be a collective responsibility of all and sundry, irrespective of party differences.

“Governor Hope Uzodinma has an edge his opponents do not have. He is the People’s Governor, and has the People’s mandate,” Arodiogbu stated.
