Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, will tomorrow declare open the 2025 meeting of the Nigeria Inter Religious Council in Owerri.
The Council is made up of Christian and Muslim leaders working in concert to ensure religious harmony and enthrone national unity.
A statement by the Imo State Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, said the governor would also deliver a goodwill message to the meeting.
According to Emelumba, the meeting which is scheduled to be held at Rockview Hotel, Owerri, will have in attendance dignitaries drawn from all parts of the country, including the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Sultan of Sokoto.
