Nigerian youths and women have been challenged to use their votes in next year’s general election to deliver Nigeria from its current depth of insecurity, criminality and moral depravity.
General Supervisor of ThankGod Awaited Liberation Ministry, Ikeja, Lagos, Prophet Francis Otukwu, who gave the charged at the 16th anniversary of the ministry and birthday commemoration of the Son of man, last Sunday, themed: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away” bemoaned failure of the political class to tackle Nigeria’s existential challenges. Wake up and refuse to be used or bought over. As the majority component of the population, engage your voting power in 2023 to change the narrative, because as mothers and youths your future is on hold, and those responsible for your woes are not bothered. So, you cannot afford to be indifferent.
“Today, due to unprecedented rate of poverty, millions of Nigerian children go to bed without dinner, unemployment is at its peak, inflation is reported to have hit a 17-year high at 19 per cent, students of public varsities have been at home for six months, the naira has fallen from N180 a dollar to N700 per dollar in seven years, you cannot sleep with your two eyes closed neither can you travel safely from the North to the South, East or West as robbers, kidnappers, bandits, herdsmen and faceless gunmen ply their lethal trade with impunity.”
