Union Bank unveils its Citizenship, Sustainability, Innovation (CSI) report

Union Bank,  has unveiled its Citizenship, Sustainability and Innovation report – an extensive description of the bank’s strategic approach and initiatives to achieve its objective as a sustainability champion, socially-driven and responsible corporate organisation.
Celebrating a 100-year milestone this year with the theme to ‘Celebrate, Impact, and Lead’, the bank has established its dedication and commitment to individuals and communities, while focusing on strategic and profitable innovation and sustainability of the environment.
Speaking during the release of the report, the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Emeka Emuwa, said, “It is especially significant that we published the report in the year we celebrate one hundred years of committed service to Nigerians. We have a clear mission to play an active role in the development of our society while being more responsive to our stakeholders’ expectations of accountability, growth and sustainability”.
The report, which has been presented to public and can be viewed on the bank’s website, dwells on the bank’s commitment to customers and impact in the communities where it operates. Successfully embedding these practices into its banking processes, Union Bank has developed simpler and smarter products and services that are relevant to Nigerians.
With its focus set on the future, Union Bank continues to lead the way in shaping a better, more sustainable future for an evolving generation.
