Promotion of Human Aid and Community Development in Africa (PHACODA) said it was partnering with the Federal Government to the rising curb unemployment in the country
In May, the non-profit organisation had disclosed its plans to train 2.5 million Nigerians through the acquisition of vocational skills to empower youths in the 36 states of the federation with vocational training commencing with 25 out of 44 available courses.
As follow up to the plan, the organisation, through its Director, Chidiomimi Angels, last Thursday said it has entered a partnership with the Federal Government under the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Angel underlined the objective of PHACODA, which, he said, is to develop a strategic platform where unemployment would be reduced and youths can have a sustainable livelihood through the acquisition of skills.
“We equip youths with practical skills for success; skills that develop their financial intelligence, entrepreneurship qualities, innovative/creative thinking potential, leadership capacity, self confidence, and self motivation, using a unique and carefully designed curriculum.
