Umahi Appoints Francis Nwaze as Senior Special Assistant on Media
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has approved the appointment of Francis Nwaze as his Senior Special Assistant on Media.
Nweze was the Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President until the appointment.

His appointment is with immediate effect, according to the statement from the Chief of Staff of the Minister.
Nwaze brings extensive experience in public communication and media relations to the role.
He previously served as Special Assistant to the Governor on Media (Spokesperson) between 2019 and 2023, and earlier worked as Technical Assistant on Media from 2017 to 2019.
He holds a Diploma in Journalism, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University and Ebonyi State University.
