Ukah wins first PFL Africa fight

Nigeria’s Juliet Ukah made a memorable debut at the PFL Africa defeating his maiden opponent, Ceileigh Niedermayr by unanimous decision (30-27×3) in a women’s strawweight (115) showcase bout.

It was Ukah PFL’s first ever bout in Africa and the victory moves her undefeated career record to 7-0.

In Fight 2, Abraham Bably defeats Paul-Emmanuel Gnaze by 1st round KO (4:59) in the PFL Africa Heavyweight (265) Tournament. Bably will face the winner of Abdoulaye Kane vs. Joffie Houlton in the Semifinals.

Bably, representing Ivory Coast moves his career record to 6-2, his 4th career knockout (4 of 6 wins by KO)

Bably was a 2023 PFL Challenger Series Contract Winner.

Simbarashe Hokonya defeats Frans Mlambo by unanimous decision (30-26×2, 30-25) in the PFL Africa Bantamweight (135) Tournament.

Hokonya will face the winner of Nkosi Ndebele vs. Mahmoud Atef in the Semifinals.

Zimbabwean Hokonya moves his undefeated career record to 6-0. He’s winning his PFL debut after five fights with EFC.

In Fight 4, another Nigerian, Joffie Houlton defeated Abdoulaye Kane by 1st round DQ (0:40, illegal knee to a grounded opponent) in the PFL Africa Heavyweight (265) Tournament. Houlton will face Abraham Bably in the Semifinals.

Houlton moves his career record to 8-4. He has won 7 of his last 9 fights.
