Earlier on Christmas Eve, the President and First Lady had both participated in the traditional NORAD Santa Tracker phone calls at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. ‘NORAD Tracks Santa’ is an annual Christmas-themed entertainment program, which has existed since 1955, produced under the auspices of the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

Trump was also in a video teleconference call with military members previous to the NORAD call.
Later that night the Trump and wife attended a Midnight Mass at the Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida.
Here in Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari sent a tweet thread, wishing all Happy Christmas celebration, whilst also assuring Nigerians on his commitment to address the current fuel crisis rocking the nation.
I wish all Nigerians Happy Christmas celebrations. As I noted yesterday, the fuel scarcity that has caused many of you to spend this period on fuel queues is deeply regretted. All relevant agencies of Government are working round-the-clock to bring relief to you.
