TPT International, a Nigerian strategic communications and reputation consultancy, has been named among Africa’s leading public relations firms in the inaugural Africa Consultancy Performance Index 2026, published by Earned First.
The recognition places TPT among consultancies assessed for performance, creativity, innovation and impact across the African public relations industry.
The index evaluates PR consultancies across five areas: business performance; creative impact and client outcomes; innovation and thought leadership; talent and culture; and industry leadership. It also places emphasis on firms capable of extending their influence beyond their domestic markets.
TPT International was listed alongside leading global and African consultancies, including Retroviral, Clockwork, Dialogue Communications, Edelman, Burson Africa, WE Communications and Chain Reactions Africa.
Founded and led by Adetokunbo Modupe, popularly known as Toks Modupe, TPT International specialises in strategic public relations, corporate reputation, public affairs, brand communications and influence management.
Modupe has more than three decades of experience in the communications industry and has played an active role in the development of PR practice in Nigeria. He has also held leadership positions within the Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN).
Under his leadership, TPT International has built a broad client portfolio covering the corporate, government, public affairs, consumer and development sectors.
The consultancy is also a member of the global WE Communications network, giving it access to international expertise and capabilities while retaining its knowledge of African markets.
The recognition comes as the African PR industry expands beyond traditional media relations to focus more on reputation management, strategic influence, narrative development and stakeholder engagement.
Reacting to the recognition, TPT said it regarded the listing as a starting point rather than an end in itself.

The recognition also highlights the growing capacity of Nigerian PR consultancies to compete and contribute to the wider African communications industry.
