A top French Ligue 1 club has already opened talks to sign sensational Gift Orban from KAA Gent this summer, SCORENigeria can exclusively report.
It is understood that this unnamed French club has already enjoyed some successes with players who came over from the Belgian Jupiler Pro League in recent years.
Orban’s agent Atta Aneke was coy about this serious interest.
“Yes, there are some offers on the table and we’re talking,” he said.
Orban, 20, has taken Belgium by storm since his arrival from Norwegian second division club Stabaek.
The compact striker has scored 14 goals in 13 appearances for Gent since in January.
His goals have lifted Gent to the quarterfinal of the UEFA Europa Conference League as well as the Top 4 of the Belgian league.
Gent signed him for €3.3 million and his transfer market value has since shot to Nine Million Euros.
Top transfer experts have predicted the shooting star will make a big transfer of at least €20 million this summer.
The player himself has spoken of his dream to play in either the Premier League or Bundesliga.
