Galatasaray has rolled up its sleeves to sign Victor Osimhen permanently at the end of the season, with another round of talks with Napoli.
According to Sabah, Galatasaray will ask for a discount from the Italian club, who is also considering Davinson Sanchez, Barış Alper Yılmaz or Yunus Akgün in a swap deal.
The transfer of Osimhen from Galatasaray has been initiated. It was stated that every sacrifice would be made to obtain the transfer of the world-famous superstar, who left made headlines after scoring a brace against Samsunspor and Tottenham.
It was reported that President Dursun Özbek is determined on this issue and has given the order to take action. It was learned that negotiations with Napoli will begin in the coming days and that the player’s side has also been informed of the developments.
With Fenerbahçe now in the race for Osimhen, Galatasaray who were trying to lower the €75 million transfer fee, will table cash plus three players swap offer to Napoli for the Nigerian.
Milliyet quotes Galatasaray management, “We cannot leave the transfer of a sensational name like Osimhen to the summer. His rising performance will increase the interest in him even more.”
Meanwhile, Napoli Sporting Director Giovanni Manna, who was said to be coming to Istanbul last week but cancelled his trip, said, “There are many clubs interested in Osimhen. If Galatasaray does not pay the net fee of €75 million, it cannot take Osimhen.”
