Tinubu’s SSA happy over N100b allocation to school feeding programme

Yetunde Adeniji, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on School feeding has extoll his principal, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the allocation of N100 billion on School Feeding Programme in the 2024 budget.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, Adeniji noted that the N100 billion allocation clearly shows the empathy President Tinubu has for Nigerian children.

“The 28.7 trillion 2024 budget signed into law by President Tinubu January 1 is one empathy and compassion as far as the N100 billion allocated for the School feeding programme is concerned. It clearly demonstrates Mr. President’s   unwavering dedication to the well-being and upliftment of the Nigerian people,” she noted in the statement.

She further commended President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda over the energy, strength, capacity, empathy, and compassion he has consistently demonstrated in leading Nigeria.

“I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Mr President for his visionary decision to reintroduce the National Home Grown School Feeding Program (NHGSFP) which will play a crucial role in removing children from the streets including improved enrollment and enhancing the socio-economic activities of the host communities where these schools are situated.

“Additionally, the substantial allocation of funds in the 2024 budget reflects the importance placed on this initiative,” she stressed in the statement.

She however assured  President Tinubu and Nigerians generally that the allocation would be judiciously utilised for actualisation of the renewed hope agenda.
