The Senior Special Assistant to  President Bola Tinubu on Community Engagement (South-East), Hon. Chioma Nweze, has reaffirmed her commitment to making life better for residents of Ibii community, in Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, by paying a follow-up needs assessment visit to the community.

It is part of efforts to deepen grassroots engagement and support community development, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

The visit followed her earlier intervention in the community, which led to the construction of classroom blocks aimed at improving access to quality education for children in Ibii.

During the visit, the community came out in large numbers to welcome her, expressing appreciation for the educational support while also highlighting pressing development challenges affecting the area.

Community members identified key needs, including the lack of access to potable water and the poor state of the access road despite the existence of a connecting bridge constructed by the state government.

In response, Chioma Nweze, a lawyer, assured the community of her continued commitment to supporting their development and pledged to escalate their concerns to the appropriate authorities.

The community expressed appreciation for the classroom blocks previously constructed to improve learning conditions for children.

Nweze pledged to facilitate the installation of a borehole and advocate for the rehabilitation of the access road through relevant authorities.

The visit reinforced the commitment to community engagement and targeted interventions aimed at improving the living conditions of underserved communities in the South-East.
