Following their individual Senate screenings and subsequent approval, President Bola Tinubu, before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), administered the oath to Bernard Doro and Kingsley Udeh as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Oche Egwa, State House Assistant Director of Information, read their citations before the ministers took the oath together.
Doro, who holds degrees in Pharmacy and Law, was appointed to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction to represent Plateau State. His confirmation by the Senate occurred in late October 2025.
Udeh, an experienced legal practitioner from Enugu State, was nominated to replace Uche Nnaji, the former Minister of Science, Innovation, and Technology, who resigned amid certificate forgery allegations.
On Thursday, the Senate endorsed Udeh’s appointment shortly before President Tinubu swore him in. Udeh previously served as Enugu State’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.
