Sankara recalled that the state government had earlier distributed over 11000 bags of rice, beans and maize, cash and agricultural inputs to victims.

The federal intervention includes 500 bags of rice, 250 cartons of spaghetti, 500 mattresses, vegetable oil, mats, blankets, pumping machines, grinding machines, sewing machines and cargo tricycles.

Officials from NEMA, SEMA, EFCC, ICPC, NSCDC, Red Cross, DSS, police and other agencies joined the distribution exercise in Dutse.
