President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Paris, France, for the second leg of his three-week annual leave in Europe.

The President arrived in the French capital on Sunday after spending the first part of his holiday in London.

Tinubu departed Abuja on August 30 for the three-week vacation, which was announced by the Presidency as part of his annual leave.

His arrival in Paris marks the second phase of the holiday, with the President expected to spend the remainder of his leave in France before returning to Nigeria.

The vacation comes ahead of the 2027 general election, with Tinubu expected to resume political activities and preparations for the election after his break.

At the start of the holiday, the Presidency said the President would return to Abuja after the three-week leave to join preparations for the 2027 election campaign.

Tinubu has made several trips to France since assuming office in May 2023, making Paris one of his most frequent foreign destinations.

The President’s European holiday is taking place as political activities gather pace ahead of the 2027 elections, with the ruling All Progressives Congress already preparing its campaign structure.

Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the three-week leave and resume his official engagements.
