President Bola Tinubu is championing inclusivity with the appointment of Mrs. Didi Esther Nimi Walson-Jack as Head of Service (HoS) of the Federation, Acting President, National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Geraldine Etuk has said.
Walson-Jack, who was appointed federal permanent secretary in 2017, will be resuming her new responsibility on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, due to the retirement of the current HOS Mrs. Folashade Yemi-Esan on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
The Acting President of NCWS therefore commended Mr. President for appointing one of them who merited the appointment having served in several federal ministries since her appointment as permanent secretary in 2017.
She said, “On behalf of NCWS, we want to commend President Bola Tinubu for recognizing the exceptional qualities and dedication of Mrs. Walson-Jack, a distinguished career woman and one of Rivers State’s finest.
