President Bola Tinubu, Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and governors of South East, are among those expected to attend the formal unveiling of the Peace in the Southeast Project (PISE-P) and the grand reception in honour of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu.
Also, to attend, according to a statement by Mary Ikoku, Chairperson, Media and Communications Committee of PISE-P, are Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Aliko Dangote, Chief Arthur Eze, South East legislators from the 10th National Assembly, as well as their colleagues from both chambers of the National Assembly, state legislators, the chairman and members of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, media moguls, and politicians from various political parties.
The reception and the unveiling of the project, according to the statement, would take place on December 29, at the Bende Sports Arena in Abia State.
It said the occasion was being organised by the Peace in South East Project in conjunction with the people of Bende Local Government Area.
According to Ikoku, all is set for the home coming reception and formal unveiling of the project.
The PISE-P unveiling would mark the formal declaration of peace in the South East as well as initiate the project’s implementation.
